I have gone camera crazy again. Here are some pictures that are too cute to resist. Alexis is quit the sister. She enjoys reading to Jennah whenever she gets the chance. It is so sweet to watch. I have also included pictures of Jennah's baptism. There are more, but I can only post so much. The picture directly above is my favorite. Jennah has such a big beautiful smile. Anyway, enjoy!!!

SURGERY

Alexis had her surgery the yesterday. All went well. The surgery lasted all of 5 minutes and about the same for her to wake up. She was not happy when she woke up though. She screamed for about 45 monutes uncontollably. Apparently that is normal. She was confused, in pain and didn't know why she was feeling so funny. For all you new moms out there, I would not reccommend going into the OR with your child while they put them under. It must have been the scariest thing that I have ever encountered. She screamed when they put the mask on her. She let out 3 huge screams, then it was completly silent, just suddenly. She was holding onto my hand and then it suddenly went completly limp. I leaned over to kiss her cheek and she was cold and wimpering while she was breathing. She just didn't look right. Anyway, it is done and now we hope that we don't have to do it again. The tubes stay in for 4 to 6 months. They will fall out on their own. She can not get any water in her ears. She can only have a few inched in her bath. This summer is going to suck. She can go in lakes and stuff, but no putting her head under the water. That means, she can't do it, neither can we. It just wouldn't be fair. We decorated her room before the surgery. I don't have any pictures of it to post, but it is very sweet. It is your regular little girls room. She has pretty curtains up, sheers with butterfly cutouts stiched on. A princess kitchen, her unicorn hanging from the ceiling, her princess dress up trunk and a pink flower light hanging on her wall. I will have to take a picture. It looks so sweet. She is very proud of her room. She will take you by the hand and lead you to her romm saying "come come". Jennah is doing great, growing lots. Always eating. Lots of smiles, she just looks at you and smiles. We are so lucky to have such happy kids. Dillon got straight A's on his report card again. We are so proud of that boy. I swear he gets his brains from his dad. Quinn is a wiz when it comes to school and retaining new information. They both have a memory like an elephant, they never forget. Anyway, Chrissy and Bill's weddings are coming along. Bill and Kristin sent out their invitations. I think Chrissy is starting to think about getting them started. She likes to leave things to the last minute. Everyone else is doing great though. Nothing overly exciting happening. Oh THE OILERS WON!!!! They only lost 11 in a row. lol.

Here are some more updated pictures. The picture of Alexis right next to this entry is the face Alexis made when the Oilers lost yet another game. We still have faith though. Our Alexis is quit a character. She is going in to have tubes put in her ears on the 22 of March. We will keep you all posted. Sorry I haven't postd lately, we have been very busy. The nasty clod this year has gone through our house. We all got it. Jennah got it the worst. She ended in hospital with RSV. It was just for the night, but they had to put her on oxygen. She is all better now. Dillon spent a couple weekends with us. He had sucha great time. Jennah was baptised on one of those weekends. We had a houseful of family. Everyone had a great time. I love having a houseful of family and friends. It really makes your house warm and full of love. It was great to have him here to share in that. Alexis loved having him here to play with. She had him by the hand all day and leading him around the house saying, "come, come" It was so sweet. She was stuck to him like glue. Every morning when he woke up she ran out to greet him with a big hug. He is such a great big brother. Quinn is working hard like always to provide for his family. He is doing such a great job. I am busy taking care of 2 girls under the age of 2. They keep me busy. The house work is kinda lacking though. Whatever right.

we are baking

Today we baked bread with my friend Julie. We also made cinnamon buns and buns. Alexis was right in there helping out. We couldn't keep her out of it. She is such a great help. She helped mom make banana muffins and chocolate chip cookies the other day as well. I have been into a baking thing lately. It is okay, it will pass soon and probably not happen again for a few years.

Such a big girl

Our little girl isn't so little anymore. Alexis is growing up to become quite the big girl with quite an attitude. She slept in her "big girl bed" for the first time last night. A friend of Quinns also bought her a potty. We will slowly introduce her to it as she now tells us when she has "yuckies" in her diaper. There of course no pictures of the potty. I have also included pictures of Jennah and the girls. Anyway, I hope that you enjoy the pictures and if you have any words of advice on the whole potty training thig, we are more then happy to listen. Yes the picture with Alexis sitting on a blanket with her bottle is and Oilers blanket. We still have faith!!!

update

Here is an update to this blog, haven't done it ina while. Everything is going well. As you can tell we have adjusted quite well to the new baby. Mom is sleep deprived, but coping. Alexis is our little princess and enjoy dressing like it. Dillon is a very proud big brother. To those of you who read this and can attend, Jennah is getting baptised on February 11, 2pm at St. Josephs Catholic Church. There will be a great and meet at our residence afterwards. We did get family pictures done but having problems accessing the pictures on the disc. Stupid disc! Not much else happening. Had a quiet New Years eve. Just sat at home with a couple of friends and watch movies. I think we were in bed at 1:00am. My friend that was in the car accident is doing well. He is in rehab, learning how to do everything again. But he is awake now and knows his family. That is all that matters. My Aunt is quit sick and she has our prayers with her. She has bone cancer. I am staying hopeful. She is receiving Kemo, so there is always hope and that hope is what I am hanging onto. Never give up. She beat breast cancer once, back n the day when it was hard to beat and they didn't have the technology they have now. She is a strong lady and I have great hopes for her to recover. She can do anything. Auntie, if you are reading this, you are a very strongperson, I hope to have half the strength and courage that you have. I love you very much. Anyway, our prayers are with you always and forever. Anyway, nothing else really to post. Hope you enjoy these updated pictures. Our girls are growing very quickly. Apparently I produce cream rather then milk, Jennah is gaining weight like crazy.

Christmas

Well another Chrsitmas has come and gone!! The kids had a great time. Dillon is with us now until the New Year. Now we must find the space for all the new toys that have over run our home. Jennah has come down with a nasty cold. Poor little thing, can't give her anything because she is so young. Dr said it was a virus, it seems to be getting worse, so I think that I will take her into the clinic if she is not better or on the mend tomorrow. Poor girl is so stuffed up that she can't breath when laying down. I just wish that there was something that I could give her to make her feel better. Then this morning Alexis woke up with a runny nose. Man, if she gets sick, this is going to suck. Anyway, on a happier note, here are some great pictures of Christmas. I think that these pictures is what Christmas is all about!!
